I think Corc needs to be mentioned as an absolute bright spot through the first two games given that he was expected by many to be a human turnstile.

Really the whole line has done a tremendous job keeping Dylan clean in pass pro. Colorado's new and improved pass rush basically did nothing all night

Is uncle Donny the greatest coach that has ever stepped foot in Nebraska? A lot of people are saying he is.

3: Looks like we were just wasting our time worrying about the LBs this summer. (I'm super guilty) And I bet we get Wright back this week. (No info just fingers crossed)

6: I didn't mind the conservative 2nd half. We've given away so many wins in the last decade I have no problem with playing a 28 point lead the way we did.
3. On the pick 6 Bullock had the inside reciever, which was probably the primary look, covered like a wool blanket, forcing the long throw to the outside that was picked. I don't focus on LB coverage too often, but there was at least one other time when I noticed Bullock completely taking away his man.

6. Same. Not too concerned about it. For one, we had a four-touchdown lead and the clock was our friend. I don't mind being conservative in that sitation. Colorado sensed what was going on and loaded the box. After what we've been through, just do what you have to to get the W. I'm not worried about style points. And secondly, we actually did have several explosive plays in the second half, they were just brought back because of penalty. That feels easier to fix than not being able to get any big plays at all.

I'm still mad about that perfect pancake block from Rahmir. DAMN.

1: Colorado looked like a team coached by Scott Frost.

2: T Hill finally found an interception return that he couldn't screw up. Remember last year when he would pick one off and then run some crazy direction that actually helped him not return it for 6? So glad the dude found the end zone this time.

4: Looks like all our worry about the kicker this summer was completely justifiable.

5: Colorado was basically UTEP but with Travis Hunter. I'm guessing our first actual test will be Illinois.

7: I wouldn't be surprised if we get 3-4 recruits for 25 or 26 from that game experience. Things couldn't have gone better from that perspective.

8; So glad to leave week 2 without any notable injuries that I'm aware of. Last year we had lost multiple starters in a variety of areas by now.

9: Is it good or bad that I almost forgot that Gifford is still playing at Nebraska? Has he made any noticeable plays? Seems like that might be a positive.

10: Raiola may not have lit the world on fire against Colorado but he manages the game better than anyone we've had in years and that is worth it's weight in gold.

I agree on point #5 but I also think we’re built/designed to play against a team like Illinois moreso than Colorado.

Colorado had enough flaws that it didn’t matter but an air raid spread team would scare me a lot more than someone trying to drive down the field with a power/ball control offense against our front 7.

Gbayor is a very good player. It's wild to think he wouldn't be starting if Wright was healthy. IMO Gbayor is a great story of how this staff develops, and he's not the only one. If I remember correctly coming out of high school he was the defensive POY in New Jersey. He couldn't get on the field under Frost and I think most thought he was a transfer candidate. New staff comes in, he gets on the field last year and looks good. This year he looks like he could be a star.
Before Rhule player development was lacking for far too long.

Sipple has said repeatedly on air that we have to fix our long snapper problem. Said it was an issue all last week at practice. Above my paygrade but he was emphatic every time he brought it up.
Rhule basically confirmed the snap issues yesterday and alluded to the kickers maybe being worried about that issue when kicking FGs.

We only had one until they brought this guy in who played at IWCC. He was at Nebraska last year 2023 but didn't join the team until this last summer 2024.
