I’d forgotten about the not using timeout against Minnesota. This is a very weird tendency Rhule has. I don’t really get the logic behind it either

I thought their oline was about the same as our dline. We got to Mordecai multiple times and should’ve sacked him but for whatever reason we made him look like Steve Young back there. If we convert one or two of those sacks, I think we win.

Also genuinely curious, how was that not a tripping by Allen in OT? @alt f4

The refs did us no favors again last night. They called a hold on JEJ for a taken down earlier in the game...Late in the game on a Q Draw by Mordecai, the an OL does the EXACT same thing JEJ did...no flag....saw Butler get tackled on a Q Draw...nothing.

But the officials are so far away in my mind bitching about shit...

I can’t remember how tough last years schedule was but even with a win against Cockeye on Friday it seems like this season has been a failure.

Easiest schedule we’ve had in forever and we continue to find ways to Nebraska games.

Easiest schedule we’ve had in forever and we continue to find ways to Nebraska games.

If we are beat Cockeye it’s not a failure for a couple reasons. We beat Cockeye again and we get more reps with bowl practice. Any momentum going into next season is a big deal.

Tripping needs to be early intentional. Live I said tripping and wife immediately said he just fell over and accidentally tripped him, like our boys do all the time.

On replay I agreed it didn't look intentional.


You're looking for a leg whip or kick movement for tripping to be called.

There is a disconnect between what Rhule says he wants to do (run the ball) and Satterfield who cannot help going Whipple. There will either be a come to Jesus talk between Rhule and Satterfield or we will watch the offense struggle again next season.

Lots of people are giving our defense a pass…their performance was less than stellar.

Purdy is the best chance we have to beat Cockeye in my opinion, but the defense needs to show up. We can beat them.

We are giving defense a pass because in modern college football you give up 17 points in regulation you should win nearly every time

We struggled on D with tempo against Wisconsin and I did not see us going on the road at night and coming out with a W. I'm oddly more confident of our chances against Cockeye.
