Sevion Morrison gone..

I wonder about Hannah. He was a guy that needed to add size. He’s behind 2 real dudes in Henrich and Reimers . Is he a guy that could come into his own later? You need depth there. Point being is he a bust or is he just gonna be a late bloomer behind two guys that can really play? The coaches recruited him knowing he had to add bulk.
He's slow, not very athletic.

Frost/Lubick calls the plays, Held was in charge of putting in the correct player for the play. Held was hott trash at identifying his room. WR room has the same problems.
So who does it fall on if Held trots Yant out there and Frost/Lubick call a jet sweep? Honest question, I’m not flaming

Tons of rumors/whispers before the firings and now there is more...coaches need to get hired to do some damage control. OldReds head is gonna explode as is the rest of the potatoes on RSS if what I heard is true. ALOT of younger offensive kids looking to gtfo.....
I'll betcha Grimes, Neville, and Nixon are gonzo the Monday after the Cockeye game

Held, that's a play for Johnson or Morrison. Ultimately Frost has to look at held and go What the fuck are you doing.

The running back room was wide open all offseason and even into the season. Sevion couldn't beat out a true freshman in Ervin, and then he got beat out by a guy who was last on the depth chart going into the season in Johnson. Not to mention being behind Yant on the depth chart, who was overweight going into the season.

do you really want to take a chance on a 4 year starter who has more turnovers than points in 1-possession games during the last 2 mins and OTs?

All I'm saying is that it's going to be interesting to see what happens and I'm glad I won't be the one making the decision. I don't know which is more likely between us finding a legitimate starter from transfer QB or Adrian finally turning the corner and winning games. Both seem pretty equally possible.

Yeah which odds are better. That's a really good take

He just wasn't good enough🤦‍♂️. Have a feeling he'll be one transfer that will end up doing well elsewhere

I don't necessarily see that as a knock against the coaches. After he left Nebraska, Aaron Green went on to have a very nice career at TCU, but he left because he couldn't beat out Ameer, not because the coaches were misusing him or something.

Adrian's a great kid but I'd prefer he move on and we go find a guy in the portal. The other players on the team, particularly the defensive guys, probably believe at this point that if the game comes down to the wire that they are going to lose because their starting QB can't find a way to win it.

I feel like the RB room has been such a cluster that he should've at least gotten a bit more chances on pure mismanaged luck alone. It feels like none of the backs have really gotten a fair shake at playing time other than Rhamir, who has been good but not great. Yant has obviously been the other and probably the more impressive of the two IMO.

My point is, I'm not sure Held could correctly identify the talent in the RB room if it smacked him in the face. I'm not sure Rhamir has done anything that couldn't have been done equally as well or better by some of our other RBs that haven't played. Maybe he is the best back but how would we ever know? Do you trust Held that much?

I think the odds of the lightbulb coming on in year 5 for A2M and us finding a transfer QB who doesn't fumble-six or pick-six like he's giving out candy on Oct 31st with the game on the line are equally bad, but I would at least like to see a different QB fuck up in 2022 for a change of pace. 🤷‍♂️
