I think it would surprise a lot of fans to know that a lot of the traditions aren't designed to cater to people over the age of 23

The balloons are the only thing that get get my daughters excited about the game.
Every once in a while, I get to holler out the girls that the balloon party has started.

The only real disadvantage to having it end (other than it is kind of sad) is if it would be used against us recruiting. "Their fans don't even care anymore" kind of shit. Although having losing seasons for so many years in a row probably does 10 times more damage.
