We saw theatrics last year to keep the streak alive with the charity for disadvantaged kids vs Buffalo and the buy one/get one free vs Purdue.

It's one of those Nebraska things that NU fans like to hang their hat on but it wouldn't be a big deal if it ended. Regardless of an actual sellout, we have amazing fan support that resonates with recruits. As a fan, I care more about streaks like (1) not going to a bowl in the last 5 years, (2) losing to fucking Cockeye 7 years in a row, and (3) not having a winning season since 2016.

If we are even mediocre throughout the 2022 season, the stadium sells out. It's on you Scott.

In reality it's not a big deal if it ends, but to some husker fans not living in reality it would be the end of the world.
