It’s gotten pretty bad. This current lineup there is strange. I kind of feel for Robin. Great opportunity on paper given that HOL is one of Yahoo’s top Rivals sites. But, man… comes at a cost.

I still can’t figure out Matya. Except that I don’t think I’m missing much by not hanging out with him.

I fully expect Clouse to be hired by on3 for their Nebraska or at least Regional site. They know Clouse has a following and at least name recognition to pull people over or peak interest.

That thread is going as I would have predicted for rss. all the sunshine scrollers are coming at Mike with pitchforks for writing what they are calling a “smear” piece for simply giving an honest opinion on the state of recruiting. Incredible

Nate’s opportunity to be hired would be much better if he even showed the slightest personality over the years. He comes across incredibly robotic, and that just doesn’t play as well in today’s world.

I really like Chad Simmons. He seemed to be pretty enthusiastic in his small postings on HOL.

3. O-Line is okay for recruiting. Still waiting for some commits from the visitors, but Greg Austin is doing a good job of stocking the pipeline.

Absolutely nothing. It just wasn’t the typical RSS sunshine pumping article and people don’t like that

Seems reasonable. It’s not much of a secret that recruiting isn’t going well right now and Frost needs to show he can win games.. People constantly bitch about the staff posting sunshine over there and then get pissed when they don’t.

It wasn't a smear piece at all. The only thing I learned from ITT is that those who are pissed with the article didn't fucking read it. It was an honest assessment and said basically it's time for Frost to win.

At the end of the day with the Huskers, there is simply not one new question that can be asked and there’s not one new conclusion one can come to. Why this off-season is the most frustrating in recent memory and seems like the longest even though it’s been the shortest, is because every one of those good questions that need answers are valid but there’s no way that anyone can give you an answer until we kick off this fall.

What is there really more to talk about? What question is there left to ask that our staff needs to answer? They’re all asked and we are awaiting an answer that we won’t get probably until big ten play.
