Reason #329 for avoid cruise ships

My wife refuses to set foot on a floating Petri dish, otherwise known as a cruise ship, and for once I'm in agreement with her.
Some people love them. I’ve never understood it. I guess you can see a little bit of a lot of places potentially. Shrug

I hated the concept of them until we did the Disney cruise about 18 months ago. It didn’t feel over crowded except for getting on and off. And everything in between was pretty relaxing. If I’m being honest the unlimited soft serve was probably what made me love it.

I did an Alaskan cruise a few years back - was fantastic
Well yeah, these aren’t really the cruises that get a bad reputation. It’s mainly the budget cruises that are filled with poor people that get a bad rep.

Cubicle farms or large entertainment venues are just as big petri dishes.

Stay away from Carnival or any other low budget cruise line and you’ll be ok.

i feel that people who take carnival cruises are the same nfl season tickets fans that sit 600 level and get there tailgatin at 5am

the literal buffet and walk up burger and fries at all hours of the day and night pretty close the unlimited ice cream was also an A for me.

I think about 90% of the passengers on our disney cruise got sick the first night from the waves. My daughter and I felt absolutely nothing but my wife was puking her guts out for a few hours. She was also on that nausea stuff they give you.

My wife and I prefer regular resorts, this being one of the reasons. Never have taken a cruise but my parents really enjoy them. Dad is saying he wants to take the whole family on an Alaskan cruise for my parents 50th anniversary in 2 years so that will be probably our one cruise my wife and I try.
