Is there one single elite recruiter on this staff?

You don’t need elite recruiters when you’re great developers. Maybe we should ask the question do we have any developers on the staff? Most of them are inexperienced, so we don’t know that either.

I didn't ask what we'll be paying, I asked what they're worth. We all know he's going to burn through that $7 million, but when I say burn, I mean quite literally putting it in a pile, dumping gasoline on top, and lighting it on fire.

I had a response the other day this looks like a staff you would put together at Temple.

I also realize that it’s really hard to blame him on last years woes.

But I thought they’d try to hire an older guy more experienced guy for this spot.

How old is Donovan? He can't be that young.

Rhule is getting a staff full of young guys, where almost all don’t have young kids or married, that will watch film recruit and jack off till the sun comes up. That’s what the 7 mil us for.

Elite recruiters could get talent to Nebraska win or lose especially when a coach is taking over. I get this year will be a shit show to a degree because it’s late in the game, but elite recruiters and NIL could get pretty good talent to Nebraska.

While at the store, you decide to spend the whole $20 on almond joys, and the store only had $10 worth, but you still paid the whole $20. I don't give a shit about spending money, but with the staff we have assembled if we get up to $7 million we will be way overpaying for about 6-7 of them based on their experience/stature related to their peers.

I'm not a fan of keeping Raiola...at all.

This is the only thing I'll say about all of this in a positive light. I think Rhule is a hard-ass and holds his assistants to a high standard and requires them to work as hard as he does. There's the story out there that he basically told the one OC that this, this, this, and this needs to happen....or you're fired. I guess my point being, these guys are going to be required to work, and work at a high level, and if they don't cut it, he'll cut them loose. I don't know if he has a history of doing it, or maybe he's effective in that regard of getting his assistants to perform, both in recruiting and development. He's had a history of that occurring. I hope that's the case...I was also hopeful of getting a top flight OL coach, OC, and DC....becoming underwhelmed, and I've been mostly positive towards whoever Rhule hires on staff...

You are overvaluing the Nebraska brand to 18 year old kids.

Put yourself into the shoes of a 18 year old kid down in Florida that has offers from all over.

You were born when Callahan was named HC. Rhule is the 5 coach in your lifetime.
You’ve experienced 10 winning seasons of Nebraska football and 9 losing seasons. It’s a near guaranteed lock that Nebraska has a 50% chance of having a losing season.

Kids aren’t beating down to come here no matter who the coach is. Unless it’s Saban
