Should Nebraska pursue and will Frost do so?

I believe they should, but just how Frost seems, I don’t see it happening...I wouldn’t mind seeing Milton transfer in, not saying Alex Smith is lighting the world on fire since his return to a similar injury, but we need all the help we need.

I'm not against looking at the market, but I have a few issues:
1. Wait till after the season. Acknowledging how terrible QB play has been, its not unheard of for something to just click and things get better.

2. I really don't think Milton is it. He did a great job for Frost, but also hasn't played football for a couple years now and I think Alex Smith is more the exception than the rule on gruesome injuries like that.

3. Most of the QBs you find on the transfer market aren't really going to be an upgrade. Using the same phrase here, but Burrow is more the exception than the rule there.

That being said, if some slamdunk fit comes available, then hell yes, take him. But I wouldn't make Milton that guy, personally.

Frost had the chance at Burrow, he wanted to come here right as frost was hired. He went for Martinez instead. You're not going to get every evaluation right but holy shit did he miss on Burrow.

Urban was wrong on Burrow also. Would Burrow have the success at Nebraska as he did at LSU? Who knows. My guess is no. They had the line in place snd the receivers.

Also, Frost was in a tough situation. Martinez was coming off a promising freshman debut season. Do you risk a locker room issue on someone Ohio State was not willing to promote?

I'd take a 70% Milton. The kid was excellent at reading defenses and getting the ball to the right spot. I would definitely limit his running but I think you could run the offense with the QB getting minimal carries.

the QB situation is more of a Scott issue than a player issue, imo.
