I would kill to have Mateer. Not his fault his wr dropped a td pass and another wr ran the wrong route on the pick 6

Oh my gawd, I can’t believe we want to go back to a run first QB. Agree with mobility, but would rather have a throw first QB. Mateer is limited in the pass game. He’s competing balls, but not so a receiver can run with it after the catch.

Mateer is streaky. When he is good he is fun to watch. When he is bad it’s ugly. I would still take him at Nebraska.

What are you rambling about. He has 80% more passing yards than pass first Simpson and a much higher completion rate.

I think Simpson sucks too, but much better than Mateer.

I love missing easy throws because of really poor mechanics.
