I'm surprised at the hate Raiola gets. It's kind of new for us to have a QB like this.

Last guy we had that was hated was probably Crouch.
I don’t remember Crouch being hated that much. He played hard and didn’t talk much shit. If social media was around back then you would have seen a lot of hate towards Tommie from other fans.

I don’t know if his teammates hate him, but his receivers were ass all season long and he never showed anything negative toward them on the field the entire year. Seems like he tries to do the right things (getting Rahmir the ball for example).

Former classmate of mine played LB for Cockeye State against those Tommie Frazier led Nebraska teams. He said he absolutely never shut up....lol.

I didn’t realize how much people hate Dylan haha

The BC fans in our section were on him all game about the Mahomes stuff. They were actually not obnoxious, which was a pleasant surprise
Yeah, it’s really the one thing non-Nebraska fans know about him. That picture of him looking like Mahomes during move in for fall camp went viral and the internet decided it was creepy and obsessive.

Just another weak excuse to hate on Nebraska. And I don’t know why Rhule makes Nebraska more hateable as the first tweet says. It seems to me Rhule comes off as very likable.

I will say, after watching the end of that game, I found it odd that Raiola was running around all by himself. But, if he can establish a winning culture, he can run around all he wants.
I’ve yet to hear that he’s a jerk or anything. Nobody has suggested he’s a bad teammate. For all the massive hype he’s gotten, he’s always been humble in front of the cameras, and seems to be a good kid

If you want to find people talking crazy shit about anyone, just go to Twitter and you'll find it quick.

Opposing fans will find any reason to dislike a player. With Raiola, much of it is due to the fact that he is a 5 star that the media loved to compare to Mahomes in the early part of the season.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's like when Duke Basketball unleashes their next tall white guy for everyone to hate on.

So what you’re saying is he plays quarterback for Nebraska. Noted.
😉
Expectations aren’t even close to what they use to be, but I don’t see the love for Raiola outside younger fans. I’m not saying people are hating on him, but they aren’t big Raiola fans for the most part.

For some reason my dad hated crouch. Never understood why (I was like 6) so by the transitive property I did t like him either
A lot of people thought BN was better and got fucked. I liked both players and was young enough and oblivious to the drama
