Enjoyed the win today gentlemen. I traveled down to watch the game with my 96 year old dad. He’s fading, and on Monday we’ll transition him to comfort/hospice care. Bittersweet knowing that this will be the last Husker football game we’ll watch together. 🥺
Many thanks to those to offered up "thoughts and prayers" to this previous post. Dad is with the Lord. He passed peacefully at 5:25 a.m. this morning. It was simply his time.

Sorry for your loss, but Awesome you got to have a trip like that with him, before he passed.

I'm sorry for your loss @LoudHogRider , and also missed that he wasn't doing well.

It hits a certain sort of way when one's parents start to fade.

God bless you, your family and your dad.

Sorry for your loss @LoudHogRider , may your dad rest in Heaven. Very cool that you got to watch a bowl victory with him right before he passed, I’m sure you’ll cherish that memory forever.
