Pay this man his monies

Soooooo who is going to coach RBs? Doesn’t make a ton of sense to move Beckton off of TEs when he’s been a home run recruiter and coach at the position

I think Quinn's a good OL coach. Certainly better than Donovan fucking Raiola, at least for what Frost needs.right now
and he was rated as one of the Top 25 Recruiters by Rivals for 2021. Established coach who is a high level coach. Seems like too good of a fit for our needs. I'm sure Frost will figure out some way to fuck this up because he wants to do things his way. Smartest Man in the Room Syndrome.

I mean his job is on the line next year....shouldn't he do it his way?

I don’t think Quinn ended up being an option.

If my job was on the line I wouldn't go with an Unknown Quantity at an important position like O Line. We have no idea what we are getting in Donovan who is basically the Assistant to the O Line Coach for a struggling Bears team. If our team was a winning program and looked like a well run team I could see adding Raiola because of his Poly connections plus his 5 Star QB nephew. Seems like in the long term it could really pay off for Nebraska but the short term risk is huge. A more proven veteran coach made more sense to me because of the current state of the program. I do like having a blend of veteran and younger coaches on a staff but right now will accept anything that finally makes us look like a well coached team.

But it's not your job on the line. It's Frost's job. They've given him a year, why would he do it anybody else's way but his own? Frost likely knows what he's getting in Raiola right?

Whether you think Raiola is qualified or not....not relevant. There's no re-do at this point for Frost. If he's wrong on this hire. He loses his job anyways. If he's right...then great. What offensive line coach guarantees this team succeeds next year? There are none. So let Frost make this rope...and it either hangs him or pulls him out of the fire.
