OT Mind Over Murder

Now I’ve watched the series and yeah it’s clear the six were railroaded. Sucks. The one thing that was mentioned but not thoroughly was that the PD stated they weren’t going to help Burt from the get go. But then they said he didn’t read the case file. So, were they helping him or no? I could see if left without much background evidence and the local PD not continuing the case, that left to the one lead he had, he was going to bulldog it. And facts be damned, he believed it
