They cut a dozen or so sports not too long ago to try and stay profitable. Tried to cut more but donors stood up to turn in a record donation year to keep more programs afloat.

Take away an easy 20 mil on tv rights that they are getting they are sunk.

They aren’t getting much by themselves.

I'd guess they can draw on donors to make it work if need be, but maybe they don't have enough that give a shit about ball sports
