SOMEONE has to lose football games in this new conference and I'd prefer it not to be Nebraska. You keep adding the premier programs from other conferences to make one all-star conference... someone is still going to have to finish in the basement/bottom half. I'm fine with Cal and Stanford filling that Kansas State/Iowaa State-in-the-Big-8 role because if we keep adding perennial top 20 teams (like FSU and Clemson instead of Cal/Stanford) to the league... it could be us finishing at the bottom. There's a LOT riding on Rhule turning this thing around, the sooner the better.

I'm all for adding Stanford. They are just another piece to eventually landing ND. Cal can kick rocks, and I frankly don't care either way about FSU or Clemson either. I'd prefer UNC over both of them.
