Just another one of the No No's I have been hearing about going on behind the scenes. Lots of head shaking when I hear stuff like this. Just another example of why I question so much about Frost's Leadership because of behind the scenes head scratchers.
I know of at least 2 Boosters/Business Owners who wanted to support Defensive Players and felt they were being forced to advertise using Martinez. Both left without signing anything and put their checkbooks away. They refuse to deal with Gerrod and both said they doubt they will donate to the football program until we start winning and looking like a well run program if this is how things are run now.

My question is why is any money going to more than a couple of guys on the current roster? I doubt we have many that require money to stay. The ABM money needs to be filling 5* recruit’s pockets.
I can see a business like mine paying Nash for advertisement. He’s a hunter and is popular. Guessing he has a decent social media following.

Ask if he’ll be any good. Ask if money is the deciding factor for him staying. If not then tell him tough shit and work hard. If he has a large social media following send him a TPB hat and some cash.
Throw him some cash and get him on a podcast with TPB asking the questions or as the sponsor and have him mention it in the interview and tag TPB in posts leading up to the podcast interview.
You should be able to sponsor whomever you want. It absolutely should not be up to ABM, Gerrod, or god forbid Frost or anyone affiliated with the university.
After a 30 second gander at the ABM site and the opendorse site, I think this problem will sort itself out. And gerrod out of business.

I’m with you. I guess what I’m saying is that if big booster money is just being pooled without looking for ROI, that money should be used to get high level recruits or for keeping high level athletes on the team.
As individuals or business owners I think we should reach out to athletes ourselves and quit paying a middleman.
