Carter Nelson looks like he will be that tall, athletic, TE type we have been needing. Fidone is sill somewhat sluggish IMO. Two major knee surgeries and wearing a big knee brace took a step or two from him.

Wonder if this Mac Markaway (sp?) will be worked in quicker than expected. Wouldn't be a huge surprise.

I am a little concerned with our DB's vs CU. CU will get a good number of big plays most likely. We need to get constant pressure on Shadildo.

Next week is a game we should win. Today showed some very promising things. Obviously #15 is the real deal. But still a Frosh. New WR's are a huge improvement vs last year. Defense might not be quite as good as last year (TBD), but our D Line should be even a bit stronger than last year.

Overall, it is a damn good feeling to have a blowout win where 2nd and 3rd stringers are in yet in the 3rd qtr. Sure, there was a noticeable drop off on both LOS with the backup units, but overall, a damn good feeling to thump an opponent where there is no doubt mid 3rd qtr.

Hopefully they can get the LSU kid going, unless I missed something Fidone looked pretty meh today.

He just runs so stiff, which I get is normal for a TE but even more so. More of a seem route to beat a linebacker kind of guy. Leave those screens out in the flat for a guy like Carter Nelson who looked super fluid. Man when he packs on 20-25 pounds and can block, those little plays we were trying to feed to fidone are going to be dangerous with Nelson.
