The oddness of his name demands a Husker offer.
Yes. And we should ask Mr. Peabody to set the "way back machine" to 1997 and STOP Osborne from handing off the program without a legitimate national coaching search.

Sorry - that was the only "Sherman" joke I could come up. As an homage to my childhood, my brain still associates Sherman with Mr. Peabody.

Georgia OT in the transfer portal. He had ankle surgery prior to the start of spring and never played in 2022.

DiMichele is following him on Twitter. ^^

Cooper is following this kid on Twitter now too. Transfer DB.

Raiding the uga 2deep is a bold strategy.

But better than raiding the Bama bench for guys who never played
None of these guys were in the two deep at Georgia, of course. No one who was would transfer.

Hood has never played a snap on offense in two years (second year injured), and he was a 3 star coming into college.

Singletary was on the field for 14 snaps last year.

8 Georgia edges had more snaps than Sherman last year.

Wynn played more snaps his last year at Alabama than these three played combined last year

Even better

sounds like Miami has an in with Singletary

Georgia Jaheim Singletary cornerback Jaheim Singletary who entered the transfer portal on Friday was signed with the Bulldogs by current Miami defensive backs coach Jahmile Addae. Singletary was the 27th prospect, fifth CB and fifth in Florida in the Class of 2022. Singletary visited the Miami football program in July 2021.

The Georgia website credits Singletary playing versus Samford, South Carolina and in the national championship against TCU. Singletary leaves Georgia after not being able to make the two-deep depth chart. The Miami football program would add excellent length with Singletary who is listed at 6’1, 175 pounds by Georgia.

A bit on Addae

Jahmile Addae is in his first season as a member of the Miami Hurricanes Football coaching staff, where he serves as secondary coach.

Addae arrives in Coral Gables after spending the 2021 season in a similar capacity at Georgia, where he helped guide the Bulldogs to a national championship. Addae, who was ranked the second-best recruiter in the country during the 2022 cycle by 247Sports.com, led a secondary that ranked among the nation’s elite in nearly every category.

I would agree with you except for Sherman. I think he is the real deal and would have seen significant more snaps next year.

I also think there is something to be said for bringing in a championship culture.

I have NP bringing in Sherman. He has been their best ST player and a great teammate that never made waves. I think he would get heavy play for us. What I read, though, is that he likely wouldn't get more snaps because they recruited over him again in the 23 class.

We won't have a real shot with Singletary.

I would just pass on Hooks
