From what I understand the going rate for QBs is up around $3 Million now. Pass Rushers above $1 Million.
According to Bud Elliott on 247. The top 1/3 of your roster are the only players worth anything for NIL.
Interestingly enough I was talking to a power 5 girls bball coach this weekend. He said that they have enough NIL to keep girls around because of how shitty the WNBA pays. I think WNBA players make around $50k/Yr...I'm surprised there's enough NIL out there for womens basketball but I guess there is.

I just am truly curious how accurate any of these numbers really are, and unfortunately we will probably never know.
I say that because if what that tweet says is true, along with what Bud Elliot says is true, that means OSU didn’t have enough to offer what the “going rate” for the 5 star DE is (speculation that the player is in fact a DE).
That then makes me curious what their “offer” is to Raiola. If they can’t offer the going rate for the DE, are they more competitive for QBs, or was Raiola willing to take less just to go to OSU over other schools who could potentially offer him more.

It's wild times, supposedly players are supposed to report NIL deals to their schools. If that happens I don't know, we're only years away now from the NCAA not being a part of big time college football at all so they have no teeth.
Elliott also talked about how under the table money does still happen as well. Paying kids not to take visits. Buying an "expensive hunting lease" from someone and it's actually just their backyard but that was a legitimate way to get a kid money.
