I think it’s the first time we have had a a very good defense since 2010. I think some of the Pelini defenses with Collins, Gerry, Gregory, and. Valentine etc were definitely serviceable. The problem with Pelini’s defenses was they couldn’t stop the run against the good run teams. I think this years defense can.

They stood up against a legit OU team. I think basically any of the Pelini teams outside of 09 would have gotten run off the field.

I think Taylor is out in CA, so not sure if he’s around much. In retrospect, he won a lot of games and unfairly took some shit from the fans.

Yeah, I was just thinking how great it would be for him to get some recognition for what he did at some point.

I meant the 09 and 10 teams were capable. Any defense Pelini had after that wasn’t great at run defense. I didn’t think I needed to say that because those two defenses were legit.

Cam hasn't shown anything representing a draft pick with his play this year. I don't see him going anywhere unless he just flips a total 180° the rest of the year, imo.
