Christo made Cholowsky look absolutely ridiculous there and he records a sword.

Wanna know one of the weirdest things about baseball?

Theres no real definition of what is and isn't a swing on that play. It is whatever the umpire says it is.

Christo was awesome today and shoved. I think Brockett pitched well enough to have us in this one.

It really comes down to one thing:

We have to hit, period. The approach today was much better. But we need results now.

I agree with you. Especially bullpen guys. They have to come on and retire the first hitter they face. That doesn’t always mean they get out of a jam without a run crossing. But they have to come on throwing strikes and getting outs.

How much longer till Timmerman is back at full speed? I thought during the Wichita state series last week they (big ten plus announcers) said he was out working in the bullpen at one point?

Gonna be tough to get 30 wins in the regular season

If we win 8 of 9 remaining series (go 16-11), And then win 7 of our 10 midweek games, that will get us to 30 wins.

At this point we are probably looking at 30+ losses with the way we are hitting

I’m not ready to give it up. I’m not disputing the shit play on offense. What I am saying though is there has been some improvement over the last week.

I think we are getting better and it seems like a few guys are on the verge of getting out of their slumps. Getting Timmerman back will help the pitching staff. Our boys have to really turn it on though.
