What a fuckin inning. Broderick made a great pitch and the dude closed his eyes and hit a ball that couldn’t have been more than 65 MPH into shallow right and now we’re down 2. One pitch away from going into the bottom half tied. I don’t know what more on that pitch you can ask

Makes absolutely zero sense. You always, always, always burn your closer in the T9 of a tie ball game. At every fucking level.

What a waste of a season, I’m to be point where I don’t even listen to the games while I’m working in the garage anymore. First time like that in years, this team is horrible

Ive been a die hard fan of everything NU since I was about 7 years old. I don’t think I’ve ever stopped following baseball as early in the season as I did this year. Started taking a similar approach to fb under frost in select seasons. Got old enough to learn if they don’t give a fuck, why should I. I’m not going to waste an entire day or night on a bunch of losers and it’s time much better spent.

He made a selfish decision in a crucial moment trying to stretch that to a double. Can’t say it cost them the game because who knows what would happen after, but it killed any momentum and the game was basically over at that point.

I don’t care if that ball was rolling around in the corner for 10 seconds. You park your ass on first base and give your team a chance to tie the game with one swing. (Especially with a guy that already homered earlier in the game up next)
