Generally when i look at Supreme athletes like that in smaller areas like this, i want to see more Carter Nelson, Connor Booth type results.

Maize is Class 6A, Kansas' largest class. Avery Johnson was his QB as a sophomore

I should add context i pretty much consider any Nebraska or Kansas school outside of the KC area to be part of the smaller area group.

I like his speed but production is not there. I worry about guys with lower product in high school unless they have world class traits.

Sucks seems like a good kid and feel bad for his uncle not seeing his nephew play for the big red. Good luck wherever he ends up

As his uncle says in the post above, he thinks its because of Jordan Allen, the WR commit to Louisville who is a teammate of Dayton R. His uncle also points out that Allen is smaller and slower than Hayes, as you would expect from an uncle.

BTW, none of the services have Booth ranked as a 4-star, so I am not sure where that account is getting that. He is a unanimous 3-star.

I am not saying we should keep him but his career production is pretty good. This includes the 5 games without a competent QB this (sr) year




I doubt the reason we are parting ways is his lack of production senior year. It is much more likely that it is simply because they have targets that better fit our current needs for next year, some at other positions. We have added some other guys recently like Loftin (I hope) and JuJu recently.

The uncle probably has it right - Mozee took his place.

Honestly, it is better than Nelson. Nelson had a good senior year, but Booth's senior year is unreal.

I agree with @Baron Winnebago, I have no idea if it will translate to the next level. But it is encouraging to see.
