Blackstock, from Covington, Georgia, was ranked as the No. 1 junior college offensive line prospect in the class of 2023 and signed with the Spartans last December. He appeared in MSU’s first four games this season, coming off the bench each time.

The 6-foot-5, 315-pound Blackstock will have two seasons of eligibility remaining at his next school by taking a redshirt this season.
