I respect your opinion probably more than 99% of people on this board, but the only thing I have against the staff is Sims. 41 carries for 222 yards. Over 5 YPC. Sims fumbles 2 snaps that hit him in the hands, throws one of his patented interceptions where he telegraphs, can’t put the ball in the stomach of the RB, and then can’t snap the ball when he should with a guy in motion. None of that shit is on the coaches. That is 100% on the player. And satterfield isn’t the guy who picked Sims, that was Rhule

If Sims is still our QB I don’t know if I will watch

You forgot ran out of bounds to preserve a Colorado time out end of half.

So you are implying that Sims called those plays that had motion when clearly we hadn’t practiced the timing of the play enough to get it right. Was the motion setting up a block? This was the game where we could have gone full Cockeye and won handily just by being boring and patient. Instead we went away from what was working and tried being cute with motions which led to 3, nearly 4, unforced turnovers where the buffs were just there to fall on the ball not actually play good D, and then had to turn Sims into a drop back passer. Satt called the exact game Colorado could have hoped for.

All week I heard the talking heads talk about how important the QB run game was going to be in this game and we called very few, if any designed run plays. Last week we had a lot of success with QB power and I don’t think we saw it one time today. I’m not sure they called it after the third quarter last week. It’s almost like the staff saw how many times he ran last week and said they need to stop.
