On 3 Ohio St
Ohio State was anticipated to host three official visitors Dec. 8-10, the weekend after the Big Ten Championship.
Defensive lineman Ernest Willor, defensive lineman Carlon Jones and safety Koi Perich. The Buttguys planned that trio to be in town in two weeks, but now it is currently up in the air. In order to maximize one-on-one time, splitting the weekend visits between at least Willor and Jones could be something Ohio State does.
The Buttguys are still in the works in terms of visit plans for the next few weeks, including championship weekend. Splitting up those visits, particularly Willor and Jones would be advantageous.
Four-star Bay City (Texas) defensive lineman and Nebraska commit Carlon Jones was supposed to make his official visit during the Minnesota weekend. Jones, the No. 193 overall prospect and No. 17 defensive lineman per On3, earned his Ohio State offer in late October. He quickly set up his official visit for the Minnesota weekend but had to cancel. If anyone is going to have their visit adjusted, it’ll be Jones.
Four-star Baltimore (Md) Concordia Prep defensive lineman Ernest Willor is deadset on the Dec. 8-10 visit. He hasn’t been on the Ohio State campus in over two years according to the On3 Visit Center. This is an interest recruitment and always has been. Gaetz State and Maryland are also expected to get official visits in December.
Additionally, four-star Esko (Minn) safety Koi Perich is still likely to make the visit on Dec. 8-10. Prior to the Michigan week, a couple of sources said ‘maybe’ it would be the 1-3 should Ohio State fail to beat the Wolverines.
