Four-star IOL Grant Brix
The buzz: The race for Grant Brix has looked to be almost over multiple times in the last few months. At times, it has been trending toward Oklahoma. Nebraska has had some momentum. Going back to the summer, there was buzz around Kansas State. There is a chance the four-star interior offensive lineman out of Logan (Cockeye) Logan-Magnolia returns to Manhattan this weekend, but the Wildcats look to be a distant third at this stage. Different sources feel different schools have a “slight edge” for Brix. It is a battle between the Sooners and the Huskers. We will see if the Wildcats can make it a three-team race again.

Any good examples of FCS QBs making the jump to P5 being successful?
Jeezus, I’ve been thinking Cam Ward was Greg Ward all year… I swear, I’m a candidate for Alzheimer’s. Entire years of my life are fucking gone.Cam Ward at Wazzu most recently
I realize it's early and dozens more QBs will be entering the portal within the next couple weeks, so there's no need to make any hasty decisions.

That said, on paper this kid looks like a perfect example of what we should be looking for. Experienced, highly successful (albeit at the FCS level) grad transfer who can bridge the gap between next year and any of our younger QBs to give them an additional year to develop before being "the guy."
