November recruiting thread

SMU is making a huge push on Dallas area guys. Nettles visited SMU 11 days ago for their North Texas game.

DiMichele and Barthel following this kid now

On Anthony Carrie - he has been looking for a new home quite a while, and this process preceded his de-commitment announcement. He has already been on a couple recent OVs. He went to NC State 11/3, and South Carolina 11/10. An On 3 prediction for him to go to NC State was made 11/18, and now he has finally officially de-committed from MSU. Ole Miss has him high on theiur board as well.

In short, we are probably too late on this one.

The early portion of the football signing period might just be weeks away for the class of 2024, but 247Sports released updated rankings for 2025 and quite a few Nebraska targets find themselves on the list.
Here’s a run through of some of the early names to know of important 2025 targets:
Andrew Babalola — This offensive tackle visited Nebraska in September and the Huskers impressed the lineman during his game day visit. Babalola jumped from No. 85 to No. 21 in this latest update, putting him squarely in five-star territory.
Linkon Cure — The Kansas version of Carter Nelson, Cure is a sensational athlete with lots of upside that looks like a tight end with his 6-foot-6, 215-pound frame. The athlete is listed as the No. 38 player in the class, making a jump of 209 spots from the most recent update. Cure picked up his Nebraska offer in September and appears to be on his way to having an offer from all the top teams in the country.
Jayden Woods — Nebraska was on Woods very early, getting this Kansas linebacker to visit in April and take in a spring practice. The linebacker was impressed by Nebraska at the time and was looking to continue building something moving forward. Now he’s the No. 85 player in the country.
Christian Jones — The Omaha Westside linebacker needs no introduction as the Nebraska staff is very familiar with Jones. The linebacker has made Nebraska visits, has stayed in good contact with the staff, seems to really like Matt Rhule and Nebraska’s defensive coaches and has teammates joining the program. Jones plays for a Class A state title on Tuesday night. He checks in at No. 86.
Jack Lange — This Nebraska football camp offer is now a highly regarded offensive tackle from Eureka, Missouri as he comes in at No. 116 after previously being outside the Top247 entirely. The Huskers were that first offer. Can they build as more teams come into the picture?
London Merritt — This Top247 linebacker visited Nebraska for the Purdoodoo game because he wanted to see a place that was different from his other visits. The Georgia native loved Nebraska’s defense and left impressed by the school. It’ll be a battle but Nebraska is at least in the mix for the No. 127 player in the country.
Thomas Meyer — Clear Lake athlete Thomas Meyer has emerged as a name to know out of the state next door, though pulling him from the Cockeyes looks tough. The 6-foot-5 Meyer could end up on either side of the ball. He’s No. 150.
Daylan McCutcheon — The Huskers and Garret McGuire went early for this Lovejoy, Texas wide receiver. Nebraska has deep connections into Texas and this appears to be one they’ll take a full swing at here. We’ll see how it plays out for the No. 173 ranked recruit for 2025.
Cortez Mills — Nebraska has a relationship with this Florida receiver that comes in at No. 203 as he played for Husker staffer Philip Simpson when he coached high school ball before joining the Huskers. Don’t be surprised if he visits Lincoln again this offseason.
