I’ve brought this up to Deano and the Scrolls and have been blasted for asking. Didn’t realize he had a second child as well. Something is up though. No one doesn’t wear a ring due to COVID and he had always wore it before.

It’s common sense that it’s a possible fomite.... most still ignore it though. Much like how some facilities make the docs wear white coats despite the evidence they spread nasty shit. But yeah that’s definitely not the reason Scott is void a ring.

I worked construction, i almost tore my finger off when my wedding ring got caught and i was hanging by it, never wore it again!

I saw a guy get his finger stripped off by an Apache helicopter's 30mm gun belt because his dumbass didn't take his ring off. He was teaching some new souljas on loading dummy rounds and got it caught...pulled the finger meat right off. Brutal stuff. They show you pictures and stuff in your initial training and it's basically 101 stuff to take any rings off, but it happened...crazy.

Also, somewhat similar yet very off topic for this original thread...a different guy in my unit was loading rounds on a live gunnery and his middle finger got caught in the gun belt and the tip of his finger literally popped off and flew about 15 feet in the air. He casually walked over and picked the finger tip up and walked off and said he was gonna go see the medic. It was gnarly haha.
