It's wild to me that I can get up in the morning and go catch this right down the road and back home in time for breakfast. I love Northern Michigan.

It looks like a coho salmon to me.

it has the hook nose forming. If it is a coho, was one the limit?

Also, is that a 12qt Rubbermaid cooler?

King. Caught him at the mouth of the Cheboygan River before he entered. Used a glow in the dark spoon, 6am.

Limit is 5 a day over 15". Have yet to see one anywhere close to being under that size.

Asheville NC. Born and raised in Georgia. Adult life Asheville. In laws Northern Michigan. You're right though. Some of these folks are straight red neck and sound like Bama East TN.

Spent some time @ Ft. Benning. Some of the funniest moments in my life TBH.

Took the kids to GA, AL, TN, NC and the Smoky Mountains for vacation a few years ago in middle school.

Cousins in Spring Lake and Gross Pointe, MI. Been to Michigan many, many times.

Tough sumbitch. Fort Benning has to be one of the tougher training facilities. I love the mountains around home, but would trade them for the hills and beaches of northern Michigan.
