That doesn't mean there aren't names and dates available in the investigation record. They used a law firm which included the former IG of the state of Illinois, and I number of witnesses were interviewed, so I it's pretty clear they have names/dates.
The point is that it's very telling none of them made the news story.

Based on some secondhand info I heard, there may be a specific reason why.

I give up. What is it?
I don't know, but one might be that there is an ongoing criminal investigation. It could also be that the University does not believe they should be making names of victims public. The University investigation is a private affair, and most of these people wouldn't want their names plastered everywhere.

I give up. What is it?
Second to last paragraph of this statement from the players gets at it. Dates and names aren't given because they would not incriminate Fitz (allegedly).

Not including years in these stories is very odd and out of the norm, it stood out even more because if what I heard was true, it would be the only way to write a story without self-refuting.

So reading this, it sounds like we don’t haze. But if we did, it’s exaggerated. And if we did, coach knew nothing about it. Talk about talking in circles.
