As recently as 2 days ago Dean said he doesn’t have an official offer… that has to be just Dean misinformation. There’s no way we haven’t offerred Thompson.

Yeah i saw that in the chat today. He still hasn’t backtracked on saying he didn’t have an offer two days ago though.

I’m sure he will say the official offer came from Frost and Whip on the visit today.

Probably. I'm not really trying to back Dean up here or anything, but with how secretive everything seems to be, the offer to Thompson is probably "not official". Dean wouldn't dare tell us something that can't be confirmed by some other Nebraska writer first.

There's probably a lot of gray area there if Joseph happens to run into his dad in an off campus setting that coaches can get away with. Don't really know though.
