Maybe he will break out at Grand Canyon or whatever in 3 years and we will get another crack.
I watched like 2 minutes of his video and he is super slow footed as far as I can tell.

I agree to an extent. Nothing jumped out as great. Felt like a developmental player with a ceiling being around what Walker did his SR season. Which is great and would love another skilled big man like Walker but I don't see Yalaho being more than a depth piece for at least 2-3 years. I'd like to see us get a better & bigger athlete at Center/Post

The coaching history of Georgetown brings to mind the situation with NU football. After the retirement of the legendary John Thompson (Osborne), Georgetown followed a similar path to NU and Solich by appointing a former player and assistant, Craig Esherick (Solich). However, Esherick underachieved, and Georgetown then attempted to recreate history by hiring John Thompson III (Pelini). While Thompson had some successful seasons, his performance declined rapidly. Instead of searching for the best coach available, Georgetown chose to hire former player Patrick Ewing (Frost). Unfortunately, Ewing's tenure was unsuccessful, but it seems that Georgetown has now made a wise decision by hiring Ed Cooley.
While the situations are not identical, Georgetown, like NU, tried for a considerable period to achieve success with a "Georgetown Guy." Although Georgetown did not hire perceived outsiders like Callahan and Riley at NU, there are still notable similarities.
I believe that under Cooley's leadership, and hopefully with Rhule at NU, both programs will once again compete for titles in their respective conferences, be it the Big East or the B1G. Georgetown is too prestigious a program to continue underachieving, just like NU.
