He said when Love plays within the NC Offensive System that they are good but when he does his own thing they struggle.
I've watched North Carolina probably 10+ times since Love has been there. I don't claim to be an expert, but I completely agree with this statement.

Oh so the exact opposite of what we need
That's my take. I talked to some of my KU connections and they thought he was a bit of a cancer on that team the way it was coached. Need a coach who can control him. I'm confident a strong coach veteran like Bill Self would keep him in line, or he would be getting splinters in his ass from sitting on the bench. We've seen that Fred isn't afraid to sit players. I like that he holds them accountable.

Fred has turned into such a conundrum. I like so many things about him as a coach but the results are ass

I got into a little spat with some on on3 about this off-season. They fall in the Robin hype train of this off-season has been great and a solid team will be out there next year.

I fired back with some arguments with the results of Fred at NU. While I agree that we got a couple solid players, they could easily be role players on successful teams and this coming years team doesn’t seem any better than the .500 team we had last year.

Definitely. I like the guys they added. Wish they could have gotten a few more of their A list, but I'm not insane enough to predict it matters.

Conceptually I can get there, but we've had enough years of shit results that I can't in reality

I think I fall on the other side of the Caleb Love debate. The dude lead a team to the national championship game and was making some huge shots. I get that something was off with that UNC team last year but he was really good the year before.

He's also a good defender and tough player that will help in the Big Ten. He's not like a Virge who can't hold up to physical play.

If he was even remotely an option I would take the risk on him.

I mostly come at it that there's no way in hell he's interested so I can say he wouldn't work here, but I'd definitely talk myself into it if he were

Oh if he wanted to come here I think he is a definite take. Then if he becomes a problem he rides the bench. I think Hoiberg has the structure in place to somewhat keep him under control. Many lessons learned from Matty A days. He either toes the line or he ends up like Teddy sitting on the bench

He would be the best guard on this roster on day 1. But we're not even in the convo so the point is moot.

My sources are telling me he's N.

Don't usually give away sources, it really hurts my journalistic integrity. But I'll make an exception for this. My source is my gut.
Hopefully he can sign the attestation that he or no one who he is connected to had contact with us prior to him being in the portal with a clear conscience
