I watched some of the Celtics Lakers summer league game last night. No offense to Banton, but I have absolutely no idea what these teams see in him. Can't shoot. Average dribbler. He's just tall and long.

They'll let hobos play summer league, but Banton has been around the league long enough that teams are very soon going give up on the idea of him getting significantly better with his handle and his shot

Working to try and get any intel I can. You’d think they would’ve known about him being flagged in the probe before he transferred here, but it would make sense.

I, for some reason, thought there was talk about him not playing at all over there, before they got there. Regardless, he was going to make the trip.

I, for some reason, thought there was talk about him not playing at all over there, before they got there. Regardless, he was going to make the trip.

To elaborate on this, he transferred to Nebraska on May 1, out of the blue, no other offers or interest that I could find.

One week later, Cockeye formally announces gambling investigation. Notes that athletes from multiple sports, including men’s basketball were flagged in it
