Damn, nice comeback and win! I DVR'd the game as had kid stuff to take care of. Of course the first 5 minutes or so of the game were missed due to the previous game - same old. But that first half was fugly. Washington couldn't miss, a lot of that I think was luck. Team stuck with it, adjusted, and tale of two halves.

This team - lead by Brice and Juwan - wants to make the dance, boys.

I don’t disagree with you about his defense. He is a good defender/rebounding guard but he absolutely sucks ass at shooting FTs and it’s mind boggling. He’s a PG. The literal guy you should give the ball to at the end of a game and hope he gets fouled. Also, his 3 pt attempt might have been the worse shot attempt of the year.

That’s Nebraskas defense. They weren’t switching very effectively in the first half leaving someone wide open each time down the court. If you hit the first few you will gain confidence, as someone will be open beyond the arc. Where they failed is they fell in love with it and started shooting them still when we were closing out.

He’s missed 20 fts on the year and 9 of those came in 2 games (UTRGV and Cockeye). He’s 71% on the year and has actually made quite a few clutch fts of late.

Edit (posted too soon): I feel just fine with him handling the ball to ice games and apparently so does Fred. He made 2 fts late yesterday when the game was still in question.

He hasn't shot the ball particularly well from the field and still misses bunnies, but he's playing his role of a PG much better as of late.
