I remember ass chewing like this and those simple phrases resonate because they don’t do it all the time. I have never seen Fred THAT animated…I LOVE IT

DW stuck around on some shitty teams believing in Fred, major staff changes between 20 and 22 seasons probably had a lot to do with it. Look back at those rosters and the glue guy was DW. Obviously Sam improving his game has been tremendous! But I agree DW should be talked about more

Also the transition from Matty A regime to current structure wasn't guaranteed to work. Fred was already independently wealthy. And he made it clear he wasn't wanting to job hop and move around the country chasing HC contracts.

DW made that transition work. There's a chance we aren't here today if it wasn't for DW.

That was us forever, even under Hoiberg, before Derrick Walker showed up. IMO, he's not talked about enough as a turning point for Hoiberg.

DW was super underrated. The high post distributor and dribble drive... He was elite
