I don't see a smooth shooter. I see a capable one. I do see a guy that could be a very good defender, rebounder and someone who's a plus athlete that can finish at the rim. Would remind me more of a smaller Juwan Gary...or the guard version of a Juwan Gary. Which could have quite a bit of value in the big ten.
Last season Keonte Jones shot over 38% from 3, over 50% from the floor plus averaged 9 reb/game, 4.1 assists/game & 1.3 Blks/game. Seems like a good all around player. Went for 18 against Stanford in their NIT Game.

Of his 294 shot attempts on the year…32 were from the 3 point line

This isn’t the right thread for this but I don’t know where else to put it. A question I asked a friend the other day - what does it take to get your jersey retired for Nebrasketball? Would Brice qualify in your eyes?

I would think so. Passed Piatkowski for points in a season.

Agreed.

- Led the team to the NCAA tourney
- All Big Ten First Team
- Three-time National Player of the Week who led the Big Ten in scoring in conference play at 20.4 ppg
- Set a school record with 43 points in a game

I get he was only here for two years but most guys who were here for 3-4 didn’t contribute at a high level their first 1-2 years either.

Very few former players (If any) made the impact Brice did in 2 seasons.

Based on some conversations I've had over the past couple of days, I went ahead and put a transfer RPM for Nebraska today.

I expect Cockeye transfer Pryce Sandfort to commit to the Huskers within the coming days. It could be as soon as today or it might take a few days, but all signs are pointing to Sandfort to NU.

The 6-7 wing visited Nebraska last week and then went to Illinois this past weekend. He was supposed to go to Ohio State this week, but he canceled that trip.

I think he'd be an excellent fit in Hoiberg's system and has been a priority NU target for a long time.
