Sucks, but Morgan is really a pretty good candidate to replace him. Not we just need to find another player to replace Morgan's backup role...

WelpAdding a scorer would be nice. I’m a little worried as the roster sits offensively but if Griffiths can average 10-12 a game and Mast plays/stays healthy we should be fine. Should we lose Mast and Gary is our 2nd scorer we might be in trouble or have to win ugly.
Robin is confident he will get the waiver and the plan is for him to be back in 2025 so YOLO I guessNo idea how he's going to do this given that it's his 6th year of eligibility, but we're in the whose line is it anyway era of college sports where the points and made up and the rules don't matter so I'll accept being wrong
Milicic would've been a perfect replacement for him.Missing out on Kyle and Igor really stings right now
Maybe we double back with 10 times the NILMilicic would've been a perfect replacement for him.
This would be ever so shitty and hopefully wouldn't happen but i'm just spitballing...since he counts towards our scholarship numbers still for this year, is there something to keep him from transferring next year?Robin is confident he will get the waiver and the plan is for him to be back in 2025 so YOLO I guess

That would really suck. Plz don't do us dirty, MastNo
Maybe lots of hummers?
Whatever is the most miserable outcome is the one I'm prepared for. Does that mean him and Dylan hit it off on campus and Dylan retires to go play for FC Groningen basketball? I'd argue Igor is a huge miss but with the addition of Meah we no longer need to prioritize another Kyle type player as bad. It's almost like we got a 7-1 version a Kyle. All defense and rebounding with limited offense. We need a stretch 4 that can shoot to help spread the floor. Having 2 players like Kyle & Meah on the floor at the same time who just rebound and block shots with little offensive game outside of dunking would stifle our offense. No spacing or threat from outside of 5 feet thus muddying up the lane. I doubt Kyle was going to come here to sit the bench. Kyle would have been a nice complement playing next to the less athletic but more offensive Mast. WE need a big man that can pull players out to the perimeter. I wonder if Meah or Morgan starts at Center? Will be a fun battle to watch. Completely different players so giving Fred some flexibility for match ups.Missing out on Kyle and Igor really stings right now
Add a stretch 4 in the next few months and I'm Full Mast againOutside of Mast redshirting this is exactly how I was hoping it would play out. Non Starting returning players left and we replaced them on the court for next season with upgrades at their position. Play off of our success and improve our roster
Worster & Ullis > Lawrence
Meah & Morgan > Diop & Keita
Griffiths & Essegian > Rice, Wilcher & Lloyd
Every transfer on our roster next season has been a starter and all except for Morgan have started at a Power4 School.
All 3 starters with eligibility left (Mast, Gary & Williams) are returning. Just wish Mast wasn't redshirting
This is from Tater Island's Transfer Tracker. They have us at #7 for Power4 teams on upgrading talent from transfers in/out
