Nebraska Vs Purdouche game thread

The thought crossed my mind. Rhule clearly knows he's going to the portal for QB next year.

He'd probably run Sims into the ground as well if the poor guy could do it without fumbling, falling over or going the wrong way on the fake hand-off.
Sims has essentially become the football equivalent of this person in every infomercial

I can't even decide which was the shittiest:
1. No targeting on Haarberg
2. No kick catch interference on Hill's "return"
3. The muff punt recovery by Purdoodoo while the ball was clearly not recovered
4. The reversed opening kickoff call where sure you can see he "recovered it" but he wasn't down yet

Add 10-12 blatantly missed holding calling by their OL and it’s indeed a Masterclass of Shit.

Some random thoughts after going to the game yesterday.

It feels like for both the fans and the players the mentality is starting to turn, and we believe we can overcome mistakes and bad calls and still win the game.

I love that the defense brings it on outside screens and throws. You're asking for a penalty or loss if you try and throw it out to receivers.

It's amazing how many different players play on D. We were resting Nash and Ty a lot in that second half and the D was still stuffing them. That has to be hard to game plan for with so many different players coming on the pass rush.

They believed in Tommi Hill, and he came up with some big plays today but if that dude had some better vision, he would have had a ton of return yards. That first pick the whole right side of the field was open.

Rhule mentioned in the post-game that it might be time for Ethan Nation at punt returner. It would be nice to have a guy at that spot that can make a play.

Momentum is a crazy thing. Just keep winning.

Bullock can't be the returner anymore. He can't catch and he costs you field position

2 and 3 were real bad. 3 they got right though.
