Wisconsin is a bigger better team than us. Wisconsin underachieved all yr & finally woke up 2nd qtr. Wisconsin played probably as well as they could & their OC is an idiot. He finally got wise late & used Allen to wear us out. We were playing on heart alone defensively bc we were out gunned physically
Which is why playing for OT was so frustrating
We had a great final drive going. We didn’t have to do anything fancy but we needed time to finish it off. For some reason we acted like the FG would win it & let the clock tick out.
Then once in OT the offense had no plan & couldn’t even get in a play timely
the coaching staff choked this away
The players actually balled out tonight
We got Wisconsin’s best shot & we gave them ours
Both staffs coached like retards

WHY MUST EVERY STRUGGLING TEAM WAKE UP AGAINST US?? It can’t be a fucking coincidence at this point.

I'm really not sure how Cockeye is gonna beat us when they won't be getting Mordecai's playmaking abilities. Deacon Hill is a fat fuck.

Mordecai looked like fuckin Joe Montana tonight and we still probably win that game if Alvano hits his 42 yd FG.

I'm not a kool-aid drinker by any means, I just genuinely do not know how Cockeye is going to beat this defense without a QB as good as Tagovailoa or Mordecai. Even with those QBs we still should have won both those games.

I think Cockeye's only chance is if they draw up a bunch of trick plays. Which I FULLY expect them to do. No reason for Brian Ferentz to hold anything back.

So Nebraska could lose to a bunch of flea flickers and reverses etc. But if Cockeye plays it straight up like they did vs MN and NW and Illinois, I'm not sure how they score enough to win.

I've watched Cockeye play this year. Our defense will eat them alive. Granted their defense will return the favor and if it weren't for Purdy I'd agree with .5%. As it is I think we have a better chance that most think. Not going to predict a win because stepping on our own dicks is a near certainty but Cockeye is beatable.

They both played at a high level tonight. Do I love the defense in this game? No, but we did hold them to 17 points. By the skin of our teeth no doubt but 17 points in regulation on the road is still pretty good. Would be good enough but...you know...offense and special teams....

They will beat us in special teams and give their offense a short field so by default they will muster up a some points.

Yep. Defense is completely getting a pass on this board for the "Fire Satt" crew.

That defense video is gonna be UGLY when they watch it this week. SO many missed tackles on Mordecai. Cost us the game honestly. It was so bad.

I'm actually more on that than I am the offense playing a QB w a chronic groin injury/who has had zero reps + a bunch of TR FR WRs.

But at some point we have to get in the end zone. A FG couldn’t win the game. We could also turn the ball over in overtime and lose.

If you have to score a TD, why not try to do it in regulation when you have the time, timeouts and momentum to do so? And, unlike overtime, Wisconsin wouldn’t get a chance to equal with a possession of their own.

I mean, best case scenario in overtime is we get the ball exactly where we had it in the final minute of regulation (a few yards farther away, actually) but in OT, Wisconsin gets a possession, where if we score a TD in regulation, it’s over! Advantage regulation TD, in my eyes.

I don't disagree. Just saying we turned the ball over a lot this year. I get the reaction to be conservative.
