Of the coaches he had they liked Dvoracek the best by far. Another current LB also really likes him though they haven't had any other coach.

Shavers has been hit or miss. Had a lot of injury issues this year. Wright was pretty good. Most people think Merrit is going to be very good.

I don't think Dvoracek is an issue.

Would still like to know what happened with Alvano. I watched him win the state championship by kicking it seems like 4 or 5 fifty yard field goals, and he just was never the same again. Did he get injured?.

He did also have a recurring groin injury the last couple years. But seemed like he got in his own head before that.

99% mental with him. The person I know on staff told me that he came into his office one day and Alvano was sitting in the dark with the door closed. This was before the season began Alvano’s freshman year. I don’t remember the exact wording, but something to the effect of needing to get his head in the right place.

No. They briefly moved him to the hybrid position we had under Chinander. Brought in as a LB though.

Alex should have played safety. He was better at that than WR.
