Sounds like the coaches messed up and played a transfer 2 plays at the end of the game while up 67-7. Hearing they self reported it and they'll just have to forfeit that game, but they'll still make playoffs.

Oh wow thats tough. Seems like the NSAA has stricter transfer rules than the NCAA lol. That sucks for them, will affect seeding.

Gretna did have to forfeit because the kid played in the championship game.

He was ineligible because dad rented an apartment to get in the school district but they didn't actually live there.

It's kind of stupid imo. There's no secret that there's a "transfer portal" in high school.
A lot of westside, Millard South etc kids don't even live near the district.... heck I know of one key player for Millard South who lives a block away from Elkhorn South.
But when I was in high school we had a player whose mom just gotten remarried, moved not even a block out of the school district and he was deemed ineligible by the NCAA because a rival school reported him (who turned out to be some of the kid's friends)
