After week one:

1. We are ranked 51st overall in the FPI rankings. We went up 2 spots.

2. Overall efficiencies (offense, defense, special teams) rank is 38th.

3. Offensive efficiency is 77th.

4. Defensive efficiency is 25th.

5. Special teams efficiency is 21st.

Colorado is ranked:

1. 71st overall in the FPI rankings. Went up 31 spots.

2. Overall efficiencies rank is 31st.

3. Offensive efficiency is 14th.

4. Defensive efficiency is 73rd.

5. Special teams efficiency is 91st.

Not a lot to gleam from these analytics after just one week, it just shows what we already know. Nebraska is good on defense and special teams but sucks on offense. Colorado is the opposite. Offense seems to trump defense in football these days, so I get why people think Colorado will win.

Who do you guys read/follow that does college football analytics?

There’s:
1. ESPN fpi
2. Bill Connelly
3. Ed Feng

I used to have a list of some guys but lost it

If I learned anything from last year, I learned that predictive stats, boxscores, and coulda, shoulda, woulda's don't mean fucking shit when we are talking bout the Huskers. I seen a hunnerd charts saying we should win, a hunnerd charts explaining why we shouldn't have lost, and none of it put a W in the right column at the end of the season. This team last year defied odds and made a fool out of stats, and after MN, I don't expect that to change.

We are now ranked 69 and last in the Big 10

we suck

Offense efficiency is ranked 116, defense is 35, special teams is 69

Jeff Sims is the only guy in his cut section that isn’t a backup (Brown, Barnes) or benched (Wells)

I don’t expect Haarberg or Purdy to outplay him
