I wonder if there's a reason more athletes are having these injuries. Does it come from doing to much at an early age? The shoes, the floor? Just seems like it is more common now.

I agree. I've actually had this same conversation wondering why it seems to be happening so often now. Especially with how far athletic training, equipment, research, etc. have all come

Season is too long for one, but biggest change is players have to cover way more ground game-to-game with modern spacing

But it's not just an NBA issue. Hell, kids are tearing acls in middle school now. Are we just doing to much with our kids now compared to 20-30 years ago? I mean my 8 year old plays soccer, baseball, flag football, basketball. Now only 1 is a travel sport, but he's so busy. Is that a leading factor of why we're seeing more of these type of injuries?

Speaking of the NBA, has everyone been listening to the Pablo Torre reporting in the clippers? First, his style is so well done. Love how he makes investigative journalism entertaining. Second, I can’t stop listening to the series. It’s up to five episodes.

If Ballmer and the Clippers aren’t in deep shit then the CBA is pointless.

I haven't listened to the series, but yeah he's all over the Kawhi thing and they basically have no outs because of it

The Pelicans are absolute garbage, but our boy Bryce McGowens is getting some nice run in the league. Averaging about 7 a game now and has gone 15+ in 2 of the last 3. He's also had 5 assists in 2 of the last 3 so maybe he's starting to figure it out still at the young age of 23

what year is this for him? usually by year 3 maybe 4 you know if youre good enough to stick around or not. hope he can keep getting good run and earn a nice contract

This is year 4. He's technically on a two way contract. He has his 3 point percent up this year but now gotta work on getting volume
