We are going underway. The first Princess cruise in 16 months. Captain and the crew damn near brought us to tears with their “bon voyage” comments. You can tell how much this means to all of them, and we are blessed and thrilled to be part of the grand reopening of the cruise industry. Stateroom suite is fucking awesome and … wait for it … ding!

Very nice! Did you leave from Vancouver, B.C. or Seattle? There's nothing like cruising in a real suite, he said wistfully. Best I've ever wrangled was a junior suite with the emphasis on junior. Have a blast and keep us updated so we can live vicariously through you.

It was actual champagne. I took a sip of it on our balcony, then the porters arrived delivering the trunks & various suitcases carrying Mrs. LHR’s vast & exhaustive wardrobe and I errantly placed it on one of the outside tables.
We had to debark from Seattle as Canada remains closed to us filthy COVID infested Americans until mid-August.
