right now its illegal to use in most states and when people do use it its obvious because of the LLM writing style and their case law cites are always wrong (like it will say a case says xyz and you go read that case and it does not say xyz at all) or AI will just make up a case completely and claim its a case law cite or AI will cite to only cases that are persuasive and not binding (ex: The Supreme Court of Hawaii says... like bro I don't give a fuck here is a Supreme Court of MO Case that says the opposite and thats where we are so thats what this Court must follow)
the only time I see people using it is emails from attorneys that are terrible, like an email that should be 2 sentences max is 6 paragraphs long repeating the same shit and saying things that don't make sense all coming from an attorney who I know is a fucking retard
I have stopped replying to all AI emails and when they ask me in person I loudly tell them I have a filter that sends AI drafted emails to my junk folder. (it embarrasses the shit out of them and I love it)
