Sign Up Now!I don't know if a true cap is the answer because all of that is way above my pay grade, but even as a Dodgers fan I can admit that they really need to do something about competitive balance. Shit, I wouldn't mind them doing something similar to the premier league with relegation so that maybe some of the cheap fuck owners would actually try to field a decent team. Obviously that'll never happen, though. Is MLB every going to get a salary cap? Seems like that would be helpful to the league
If the MLB changed some stuff and marketed itself a little better, I think MLB could become much more popularoh good I was worried the MLB was getting too popular
Like maybe... I donno... allow highlights to be shared via YouTube and other social media? If the MLB changed some stuff and marketed itself a little better, I think MLB could become much more popular
Absolutely! I mean I'm a Mets fan because I just can't get enough misery in my sports life but in general I feel like baseball could/should be so much more fun for casual fans.If the MLB changed some stuff and marketed itself a little better, I think MLB could become much more popular
lol. I didn't realize that was a thing. I've read that the league doesn't market itself well, but i didn't realize it went that far. That's idiotic.Like maybe... I donno... allow highlights to be shared via YouTube and other social media?
No chance we could support an MLB teamI like the idea of Nebraska getting an MLB team. Maybe put a stadium between Omaha and Lincoln
Aside from an NHL team, MLB might be the only pro sport Nebraska could handle right now
It's casual, its played in the summertime, it's more of a family sport, etc.Absolutely! I mean I'm a Mets fan because I just can't get enough misery in my sports life but in general I feel like baseball could/should be so much more fun for casual fans.
I think Nebraska could do better crowd wise than some current MLB teams. No chance we could support an MLB team
Exactly, that's always been such a huge appeal to me but the MLB of the past 15+ years seems hellbent on being a league for mathematicians and uptight old men hahaIt's casual, its played in the summertime, it's more of a family sport, etc.
