Welcome to The Platinum Board. We are a Nebraska Husker news source and fan community.
Sign Up Now!Legit super talented. Caught 35+ passes as true freshman at LSU. More of an off the field concern, so hopefully Rhule can fix that.Anyone know the story on him ? Just because he comes from a high profile school means nothing considering the players in recent memory we've gotten from Ohio State and Alabama
apparently hasn’t played much and has off field troubles. Should be a great get! Preacher for a coach, high character staff and he’ll be fine.Anyone know the story on him ? He had a good first year at LSU, 35 catches, 368 yards. Then didn't play in 2021 and transferred to Georgia where he basically couldn't get on the field. He had 2 catches for 16 yards.Anyone know the story on him ? This one is on the free board, Portal Nugg is not.Can we merge this with the Portal Nugg thread already discussing him please?
He's already proven. He had 368 receiving yards his freshmen season at LSU. That's probably a Top 10 receiving record at Nebraska for a TE. Sat out in 2021 and is behind one of the most productive TEs in college football history in Bowers.apparently hasn’t played much and has off field troubles. Should be a great get! Edit: what he did at lsu as a true freshman was pretty solid.

Georgia where he basically couldn't get on the field.
He was also behind Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington. So issues or not, he couldn't get on the field. He's not as good as Brock Bowers.
Gilbert didn't practice for most of the season while dealing with some type of behavioral health issue. Nebraska should absolutely sign him because he's basically a Darren Waller Type Talent. But Husker fans should temper their excitement.
